Accreditation

Teachers, Schools and Course Developers, attract more students to your classes and help EnKA set the standard for education in our profession!

Have your classes Accredited

Energy Kinesiology Association Class and Instructor Accreditation sets standards of excellence and achievement in course content and in teaching, enhancing the value of your classes, teachers, students and practitioners in the fields of Energy Kinesiology and Energy Work. The program Classes qualify for one of three categories: A, B or Elective.

You can find a list of accredited classes on each of the class category pages.

Now begin the application process to get your class accredited.

3. Fill out packet

Scan your completed application and send to cab[at]energyk.org
(change [at] to @ before you send the email)

4. Make payment

There are two parts to Course Submission:
The Courses and the Instructors.

 

Part 1 – Courses:

New Submitters: For Course Authors that have never been approved by EnKA. To Certify a new Author (course developer):

  • One-time fee

  • Accreditation fee: $2 per credit hour** for classes
    You will be able to change the number of credit hours in your cart. Be sure to click on the “update cart” button once you change the quantity.

2nd time Submitter: (if you have submitted before, but have less than 10 courses approved)

  • Accreditation fee: $2 per credit hour** for classes
    You will be able to change the number of credit hours in your cart. Be sure to click on the “update cart” button once you change the quantity.

Established Course Submitters: (more than 10 approved courses with EnKA®)

  • No fee at this time
  • Simplified submission form **Credit hours are based on clock hours. Eight hours of teaching = Eight credit hours.

 

 

Part 2 – Instructors:

New Instructors: For Instructors that have never been approved by EnKA, to Certify as an Instructor:

  • One-time fee (per Instructor) of $50

  • Resume or CV (Teacher qualifications / education)
  • Teacher Certification from specific modality, or equivalent
  • Student Evaluations – minimum of 6
  • To certify for more than one modality, supply proof of qualification per modality.

New Instructors of Established Modalities: (There are established modalities, like Touch for Health, PKP, Brain Gym, etc, that are already Accredited.)

  • One-time fee (per Instructor) of $50

  • Teacher Certification from specific modality, or equivalent
  • Student Evaluations – minimum of 6
  • To certify for more than one modality, supply proof of qualification per modality.

 

 


i.e. You have a course you want to have accredited. You are the only teacher, at present. You would need to certify yourself – both as a course author and as an instructor.

Then you would add up the credits of the class you are submitting and pay $2 per credit hour**.

Instructor Certification fee =$50
+ Initial Course Author fee = $50
+ 10 Credit hours @ $2 = $20

Total = $120

Any future course submissions would only require $2 per credit hour**

Professional Insurance

EnKA requires every EnKA® member to have Individual Professional Liability insurance. This insurance will indemnify the practitioner from lawsuits for malpractice and/or any claim anyone may make regarding mistakes or injury to their clients.  It is the same insurance required by the landlord when a practitioner rents an office. It can be obtained from Associated Bodywork and Massage Professions or other insurance outlets at a very reasonable cost per year.
